Blueberry Pie Final

New Projects

It has been a while since I last blogged, but I am back at it again.  With a new quarter of school already under my belt,  I am working on a few new projects.  I am taking a packaging design class this quarter, which is proving to be quite exciting.  Our project for the moment is re-creating an apple pie box from McDonald's.  I chose to do a blueberry inspired box and here is my mood board for that.  I hope to add a bit of country flair with a sense of  pie baking contest, such as you would see at a small town festival. The Journey Continues....

I am currently sitting in the lobby of the Hilton Hotel in NYC. The conference is off to a great start, with many prominent guest speakers in the lineup. After a long day of traveling we were all invited to a special evening event sponsored by Promax BDA aboard the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum. The museum is a historical military ship that has been turned into a museum. The networking event allowed me to do just that, network with some of the many great professionals in the design industry. I was able to meet and talk with several great people that I hope to share some future endeavors with. I would say, all in all, the evening was a great success.
